夢を持つことが、
こんなにも苦しく、
こんなにも熱いものだと知った一年。

日々悩み、
日々笑い、
日々怒り、
日々悔しかった。

自分で選んだ道なのに、
何度も心を揺さぶられた。

あれから24年と224日。

20年ぶりぐらいに聴いたオイスカは、
懐かしさより先に、
あの頃の自分を連れてきた。

悔しい記憶ばかりなのに、
なぜか嬉しかった。

きっと、
あの痛みは無駄じゃなかった。

迷いも、
怒りも、
眠れなかった夜も、
全部が今の自分を作っている。

人生は、
綺麗に勝った日より、
歯を食いしばった時間で深くなる。

だから今日も、
過去を否定せず、
真っすぐ生きる。

あの頃の音は、
まだ俺を前へ進ませている。

I listened to it until the CD was worn out.

OI-SKALL MATES
“12-MATES SKALL NIGHTER WOO…”

That was the year I learned
how painful,
and how burning hot,
it can be to have a dream.

Every day, I worried.

Every day, I laughed.

Every day, I got angry.

Every day, I felt frustrated.

Even though it was the path I chose,
my heart was shaken again and again.

24 years and 224 days have passed since then.

Listening to Oi-Ska again
for the first time in nearly 20 years,
it brought back the person I was
before it brought nostalgia.

Most of the memories were painful.

And yet, somehow,
I was happy.

Maybe that pain
was never wasted.

The hesitation,
the anger,
the sleepless nights.

All of it
made me who I am today.

Life becomes deeper
not through the days we won beautifully,
but through the time
we endured with clenched teeth.

So today as well,
I will not deny my past.

I will live straight.

The sound from those days
still pushes me forward.
