いつもの歯医者へ。

きちんと治療を終えた、その足で、
大丸梅田へ向かった。

コースター。
ボールペン。
アクリルキーホルダー。
そして、ステッカー。

これは、
歯医者のついでだったのか。

それとも歯医者が、
立派な推し活へ向かうための
壮大な口実だったのか。

人は、
合理性だけでは生きられない。

ときに理性は、
無邪気な心へ静かに道を譲り、
人生はその瞬間、
少しだけ諧謔を帯びる。

その愛らしい矛盾こそ、
忙しい日々に紛れ込む
小さな僥倖なのかもしれない。

黒ばかりを選び続ける人生にも、
こんな柔らかな余白がある。

だから世界は、
案外、退屈にならない。

Osaka.

To my usual dentist.

After properly finishing the treatment,
I headed straight
to Daimaru Umeda.

A coaster.
A ballpoint pen.
An acrylic keychain.
And a sticker.

Was it merely
something to do after the dentist?

Or had the dentist itself
been nothing more than
an elaborate excuse
for a perfectly serious act of devotion?

We cannot live
by reason alone.

Sometimes,
reason quietly yields
to an innocent heart,

and in that moment,
life takes on
a subtle sense of irony.

Perhaps that endearing contradiction
is one of the small blessings
hidden within
our busiest days.

Even a life devoted to black
needs
this kind of gentle space.

That is why
the world, strangely enough,
never becomes boring.
