濃い一時間、甘い記憶。

テーブルの上にはプリンが二つ、
深い色をした珈琲が二つ。

プリンを食べていたら、
もう一人、仲間が来てくれた。
それだけで、その一時間の輪郭が
少しだけ、深くなった。

戦友と呼べる仲間とは、
多くを語る相手ではない。
沈黙の中でさえ、
互いの痛みや誇りを察する人だ。

笑い声のあとに訪れる静けさも、
この席では温度を持っていた。

人は何を得たかより、
誰と時を重ねたかで
人生の深さが決まっていく。

派手な夜は消える。
だが、こういう一時間は残る。

甘さはプリンに任せればいい。
人は、真っすぐであればいい。

On the table, two puddings.
Two cups of dark coffee.

While we were eating pudding,
another comrade came to see us.
And with that alone,
the outline of that one hour
became a little deeper.

A true comrade
is not someone who needs many words.
Even in silence,
they can sense each other’s pain
and pride.

Even the quiet that followed laughter
held warmth at that table.

Life is not measured
by what we gain,
but by who we share time with.

Flashy nights disappear.
But an hour like this remains.

Let the pudding carry the sweetness.
Let the human being remain straight.
