あの日、名前を変えたのではない。
もう戻らないと、決めただけだった。

2001年、ZODIACとして始めた店。
積み上げた時間も、選び続けた物も、
迷いながら進んだ夜も、
すべて、あの名前の中にあった。

だからこそ、変えるという行為は、
過去を捨てることじゃない。
ここまでのすべてを背負ったまま、
次の密度へ進むための決断だった。

Alto e Diritto。
高く、真っ直ぐ。

その言葉は、理想ではなく、
逃げ場を断つための構造だった。
曲がらないこと。媚びないこと。
誰の正解も借りないこと。

時間は、その名に値するかを
静かに問い続ける。
流行も、評価も、過ぎていく中で、
残るのは、削ぎ落とされた輪郭だけ。

今があるのは、
上手く名前を変えたからではない。
あの日、曖昧でいることをやめ、
覚悟を外に晒したからだ。

名前が変わったのではない。
生き方の密度が、
ようやく外から見える形になった。

—— 名を変えるとは、
未来を飾ることではない。
その名を、生き方で証明し続けることだ。

That day, we did not simply change a name.
We chose never to return.

The shop that began as ZODIAC in 2001—
the time we built, the pieces we chose,
the nights we pushed forward in doubt—
everything lived within that name.

That is why changing it
was never about discarding the past.
It was the decision to carry all of it
and move toward a higher density.

Alto e Diritto.
Higher. Straighter.

Those words are not an ideal.
They are a structure that eliminates retreat.
Not bending. Not flattering.
Not borrowing anyone else’s answer.

Time continues to ask, quietly,
whether we are worthy of that name.
As trends and praise pass,
only the stripped-down outline remains.

What made the present possible
was not the act of renaming.
It was the decision, that day,
to abandon ambiguity
and expose our resolve.

The name did not simply change.
The density of how we live
finally took a visible form.

— To rename
is not to decorate the future.
It is to keep proving that name
through the way one lives. —
