— DEPTH IS NOT ALWAYS VISIBLE. —

People fear depth.
But what truly makes us lose our footing
is misjudging how deep something is.
After more than twenty-four years in business,
I have learned that people, objects, and events
cannot be understood by their visible outlines alone.
Experience makes judgment faster.
It also makes assumption faster.
I know. I understand. This should be fine.
That small certainty can sometimes
blind us to what should have been visible.
That is why I cross even shallow waters
as if they were deep.
Caution is not the fear of danger.
It is remembering
that there is always something we cannot yet see.
