本日、母親の誕生日。
77歳、喜寿。

照れくさいけれど、
お祝いにメロンと桃を。

大きなことはできなくても、
「美味しいね」と笑う時間を、
一緒に重ねられることが嬉しい。

人生は、
派手な出来事より、
こういう静かな一瞬に救われる。

嘘なく、真っすぐ生きたいと思うのは、
大切な人の前で、
胸を張って笑っていたいから。

いつもありがとう。

これからも、
穏やかに、優しく、あははと。

Today is my mother’s birthday.
77 years old. Kiju.

A little shyly,
I gave her melon and peaches.

Even if I cannot do anything grand,
I am happy to share the time
when we all smile and say,
“This is delicious.”

Life is saved
not by flashy moments,
but by quiet ones like this.

The reason I want to live honestly
and straight is simple.

I want to smile proudly
in front of the people I love.
