先日のコト。

打ち合わせを終えて、
会食まで少し時間があったので、
さくっと東京タワーへ。

目的はひとつ。
絶滅寸前の動物
ハッチンパモスのお守りを買うこと。

こうして文字にすると、
なかなかの破壊力である。

でも、人生はたぶん、
少し意味が分からないくらいが面白い。

現地に着くと、
やはり鬼人気でSOLD OUT。
さすがパモス。
絶滅寸前なのに、人気はまったく絶えていない。

とはいえ、今回は予約済み。
こういう時だけ、
妙に仕事ができる男みたいになる。

そして、
過剰に迎えないあの温度が、
むしろ正解に見えた。

こちらはクロコのライダース。
向かう先はパモスのお守り。

冷静に考えると、
情報量が多すぎる。

でも、そういうズレがいい。
鋭いものを纏いながら、
ゆるいものを本気で選ぶ。

強さと脱力は、
案外、相性がいいのかもしれない。

高いものを知っていることと、
くだらないものを愛せることは、
たぶん矛盾しない。

むしろその両方を持っているほうが、
人は少し深くなる。

人生は飽きない。

The other day.

After wrapping up a meeting,
I had a little time before dinner,
so I made a quick stop at Tokyo Tower.

There was only one mission.

To buy a lucky charm
of the nearly extinct creature,
Hatchinpamos.

When written like this,
it has quite an impact.

But maybe life is most interesting
when it makes a little less sense.

When I arrived,
of course it was wildly popular
and completely SOLD OUT.

Classic Pamos.
Nearly extinct,
yet nowhere near forgotten.

That said,
this time I had a reservation.
Only in moments like this
do I somehow look like a man
who truly has his act together.

And somehow,
that restrained, unwelcoming temperature
felt exactly right.

On one side,
a crocodile leather riders jacket.
On the other,
a Pamos charm.

If you think about it calmly,
it is simply too much information.

But that kind of mismatch is good.

To wear something sharp,
while seriously choosing something soft.

Strength and ease
may actually get along better
than we think.

To know expensive things,
and still love ridiculous things,
is probably not a contradiction.

If anything,
holding both at once
makes a person a little deeper.

Life never gets boring.
