Californicationの最初のコレクション。
Alto e Dirittoとのダブルネームから、その一歩を始める。
先染めのBLACK DENIMを、さらにBLACKでオーバーダイ。
13ozのセルビッジストレッチデニムを使い、金属パーツからレザーパッチまで黒でまとめた。
色を足して個性をつくるのではなく、黒の中で、シルエットだけを際立たせる。
クラシックな5ポケットという構造は変えない。
変えるのは、その線だ。
06-SLIM.
これは、細さを競うためのデニムではない。
身体へ張り付くスキニーとも違う。
股上は浅め。
腰まわりをコンパクトに整えながら、腿には必要な分量を残す。
そこから膝下、そして裾へ向かって線を静かに絞っていく。
細いのに、窮屈に見えない。
余分なものはないのに、身体の輪郭を拾いすぎない。
06-SLIMでつくりたかったのは、その緊張感。
レザージャケットや短いブルゾンを着たとき、
上半身から足元まで、線が濁らない。
ブーツを合わせても、裾だけが余らない。
ストレッチを入れた理由も、楽に見せるためではない。
この細い線を崩さず、日常で穿き続けるために。
細さではなく、線を見る。

Californication’s first collection.
Its first step begins with a collaboration with Alto e Diritto.
Yarn-dyed BLACK DENIM, overdye-finished once again in BLACK.
Using 13oz selvedge stretch denim, every detail — from the metal hardware to the leather patch — is unified in black.
Rather than adding color to create character, the silhouette itself is allowed to stand out within the black.
The classic five-pocket construction remains unchanged.
What changes is the line.
06-SLIM.
This is not denim made to compete in slimness.
Nor is it a skinny fit that clings to the body.
The rise is set slightly lower.
The waist is kept compact, while enough room remains through the thigh.
From there, the line narrows quietly from the knee toward the hem.
Slim, without looking restrictive.
Clean, without tracing the body too closely.
That tension is what we wanted to create with 06-SLIM.
With a leather jacket or a short blouson,
the line remains clear from the upper body all the way to the feet.
Even with boots, there is no unnecessary excess at the hem.
The stretch was not added simply for comfort.
It is there to preserve this narrow line while allowing the denim to be worn naturally every day.
Not the slimness.
