黒は、揺るがない。

アルトにとって、
やはり中心にあるのは黒だと思う。

長い時間、黒を選び、
黒を着て、黒と生きてきた。

服も、靴も、革も。
気が付けば、
その多くが黒になっていた。

それは流行でも、
意識して集めたわけでもない。

ただ、
自然とそこに戻ってくる色だった。

黒を重ねた先に、
一足の茶が届いた。

マットクロコの茶。

黒とは違う。
けれど、黒を知っているからこそ
見えてくる深さがある。

派手ではない。
洒落ているというより、
時間を含んだ色だと思う。

強く語らず、
それでも確かに残る。

静かで、渋く、深い。

黒の外側にある色ではなく、
黒を通ってきた先で
ふと見えてくる色。

このクロコの茶を見ていると、
一つ、頭に浮かぶことがある。

クロコの茶で、
ライダースを作ったらどうだろうか。

もちろん、
黒が揺らぐわけではない。

アルトの中心は、
これからも黒だと思う。

そのうえで、
もしクロコの茶で一着作るなら。

派手なものではなく、
静かで、重く、
時間と共に深くなる一着。

黒の隣に、
静かに立つライダース。

そんなものが、
頭のどこかに浮かんでいる。

黒は、変わらない。
だからこそ、茶は深くなる。

Black does not waver.

For Alto,
black has always been the center.

For a long time,
I have chosen black,
worn black,
and lived with black.

Clothes, shoes, leather.
Before I realized it,
most of them had become black.

It was never about trends,
nor was it something I consciously collected.

It was simply
the color I naturally returned to.

After layering black over time,
a pair of brown arrived.

Brown in matte crocodile.

It is different from black.
Yet it reveals a depth
that only appears once you truly know black.

It is not flashy.

Rather than being stylish,
it feels like a color that contains time.

It does not speak loudly,
yet it remains.

Quiet, restrained, and deep.

Not a color outside of black,
but something that appears
after passing through black.

Looking at this crocodile brown,
one thought comes to mind.

What if
a riders jacket were made
in crocodile brown?

Of course,
that does not mean black will ever change.

The center of Alto
will always remain black.

And yet,
if one piece were made in crocodile brown,

it would not be loud.

It would be quiet, heavy,
and grow deeper with time.

A riders jacket
standing quietly beside black.

Something like that
lingers somewhere in my mind.

Black does not change.
And because of that,
brown becomes deeper.
