海外在住。
付き合いは、もう20年近い。
蟹江の時代から知ってくれている、大切な仲間の一人です。

長く続いている関係には、理由がある。
その場の熱量でも、利害だけでも続かない。
時間を越えて残るのは、
互いにどう生きてきたかを見てきた関係だけだと思う。

会えば、表面的な話では終わらない。
仕事のこと。生き方のこと。人生のこと。
そういう話が自然にできる相手がいることが、素直に嬉しい。

最初の仮縫いは2024年1月。
2回目の仮縫いはタイミングが合わず、
今日ようやく納品となりました。

思い通りに進まない。
でも、それで薄まるものなら最初から本物じゃない。
時間や距離や事情を越えて、
最後に形になるものだけが、本当に残る。

そして今回、選んでくれたのは “F2″。

ただ整っているだけでは辿り着けない。
ただ派手なだけでも届かない。
削ぎ落とした先にある緊張感。
余計な説明を拒む構造。
その静かな強度に反応する感覚がなければ、
この一着は選ばれない。

だから嬉しかった。
“F2” を選んでくれたことが。
長く積み重ねてきた時間の中で、
見るもの、選ぶもの、惹かれるものが、
ちゃんと共有されていた気がしたからです。

服は、物では終わらない。
誰がどう生きてきて、何を選ぶか。
そこにその人の思想が出る。

束の間の “JAPAN” ENJOY。
こうしてまた会えて、
この一着を渡せたことが嬉しい。

黒は、合わせる色じゃない。
生き方の密度を引き受ける色だ。

Delivered in March 2026.

He lives overseas.
We have known each other for nearly twenty years.
He is one of the few important people who has known me since the Kanie days.

There is always a reason why a relationship lasts.
It cannot be sustained by temporary excitement alone, nor by mutual benefit alone.
What remains beyond time, I believe, is a relationship built on watching how each other has lived.

When we meet, the conversation never stays on the surface.
Work. The way we live. Life itself.
I am simply grateful to have someone with whom such conversations come naturally.

The first fitting was in January 2024.
The second fitting did not align with the timing,
and today, it was finally delivered.

Things do not always move as planned.
But if something fades because of that, it was never real to begin with.
Only what takes shape in the end,
beyond time, distance, and circumstance, truly remains.

And this time, he chose “F2.”

You do not arrive at it by being merely polished.
You do not reach it by being merely flashy.
The tension that exists after everything unnecessary has been stripped away.
A structure that refuses excess explanation.
Without the sensibility to respond to that quiet strength,
this piece cannot be chosen.

That is why I was happy.
That he chose “F2.”
Because within the time we have built over the years,
it felt as though what we see, what we choose, and what draws us in
has truly been shared.

Clothing does not end as an object.
How a person has lived, and what he chooses,
reveals his philosophy.

A brief “JAPAN” ENJOY.
I am truly glad that we were able to meet again
and that I could hand over this piece.

Black is not a color to simply match with something.
It is a color that takes on the density of the way one lives.
