今年の二月から着始めた、
“No.02 Mat Crocodile”。

特別扱いするつもりはない。
これからも、鬼ほど着るぜ。

どれほど稀少な革を纏っても、
人間の奥行きまで深くなるわけじゃない。

何を身につけたかより、
何を背負ってきたか。

理不尽も、矛盾も、後悔も。
それらを引き受け、それでも譲らずにきたものが、
やがて、その人間の佇まいに滲み出る。

そんな大人が、
極上のクロコダイルを何事もなかったように着流す。

服に負けない人生を着る。

I began wearing my
“No.02 Mat Crocodile” this February.

I have no intention of treating it
as something precious.
I intend to wear the hell out of it.

Wearing rare leather
does not make a man profound.
There is a fundamental difference
between dignity manufactured through vanity
and character forged by time.

To have lived is not merely
to have grown older.
It is to have endured countless contradictions,
while never surrendering one’s convictions.
In time, that quiet integrity reveals itself
in the way a man carries himself.

Such a man wears the finest crocodile
with effortless nonchalance,
as though it were nothing extraordinary.

Wear a life no garment can outshine.
