その下に着るのは、クロコダイルのライダース。

片桐氏と仮縫いを確認。

レザーの厚みを受け止める、肩と胸のゆとり。
けれど、ゆとりを持たせることと、輪郭を曖昧にすることは違う。
必要な余白を残しながら、美しい立ち姿を追求していく。

そして、何を着るかだけでなく、どう着たいのか。
その意志まで、一着の構造に落とし込んでいく。

余白は、妥協ではない。そこにも、仕立ての美学がある。

A personal bespoke order for Takayanagi.
A mid-length, double-breasted Chesterfield coat crafted from black cashmere.
Designed to be worn over a crocodile leather riders jacket.

Today, a basted fitting with Mr. Katagiri.

Generous room through the shoulders and chest to accommodate the thickness of the leather.
Yet allowing room does not mean sacrificing definition.
The pursuit of a beautiful silhouette, with just the right amount of space.

It is not simply about what to wear, but how one chooses to wear it.
That intention, too, is built into the very structure of the garment.

Space is not a compromise. It, too, is part of the art of tailoring.
